A. Most products will have an expiry date added to the label. in general, most powders will have a 12 month expiry from production.

We have added 12 different ingredients to our Green Boost juice. 


There has been a lot of hype about wheatgrass in the last few years. It's a grass that is closely related to wheat, and when dry looks like hay or straw. It's been part of holistic medicine all over the world for 1000's of years. It's denses in plant nutrients, and has been considered an anti-oxidant due to the presence of A,C, and E. It also is a good source of Vitamin K, B6, zinc, iron, selenium and manganese. A 2017 study reached the conclusion that wheat grass could be used a a supplemental treatment to cancer. There is also a 2015 study that suggests wheatgrass has antimicrobials properties.

2. Matcha Green Tea

Matcha green tea has been popular with healthy eating advocates for decades. It's packed with anti-oxidants including the powerful EGCg. It may boost metabolism and helps burns calories. It's also has been known to detoxify the body, calms the mind, is rich in fibre, chlorophyll and vitamins and provides a source of vitamin C. Other vitamins include selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium. It's also been know to reduce blood sugar and cholesterol. 3. Celery Seed

Celery is really popular right now and the trend of drinking celery juice every morning on an empty stomach is now hugely popular all over the world. It's long been touted as a super green. Celery seeds have been used in eastern medicine for 1000's of years to treat ailments such as bronchitis, skin problems and the flu. They are rich in nutrients and essential minerals such as calcium, manganese and iron. They've also been know to provide benefits for bone health, promote red blood cell formation, and help with iron deficiency.

4. Spirulina

Spirulina has increased in popularity as a dietary supplement. It's a type of blue-green algae that is packed full nutrients and health benefits. These include thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, and vitamins B6, A and K. It's been know to lower cholesterol, and have a positive effect on blood lipids, which are fats in the blood. A study in 2013 suggests this claim. There is also a theory that Spirulina may treat mood disorders, the theory being that it's a source of tryptophan, and the amino acids support serotonin production. Serotonin is known to play a vital role in mental health.

Even 1000 years ago it was know as a health food, and by the late 12th century it's cultivation had spread throughout Europe. It's rich in antioxidants, and is an extremely good source of vitamins A, B2, C and K. It also is high in magnesium, manganese, folate, iron, calcium and potassium. Stevia is a natural sweetener. It also has some health benefits that you may not associate with this type of ingredient. While it's been touted to be an anti-microbial, anti-diarrheal, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and has immunomodulatory actions, the two most recognised benefits are helping high blood pressure, and high blood sugar/insulin resistance. We use black pepper in our blend to improve the efficacy of tumeric. A study in 1998 does indicate that a molecule in black pepper, piperine, can help the absorption of curcumin, the main active in Tumeric. Black pepper also has it's own health benefits so it makes sense to have it in our blend.

Inulin occurs in many foods including banana, chicory, barley, onion and wheat along with many others. It can play a preventative role against gastrointestinal complications such as constipation, can enhance the absorption of minerals and stimulates the immune system. It can also help replace dietary fiber.
